Cavan town while it is in Co Cavan is close to the border of Co Fermanagh in Northern Ireland and is in the province of Ulster which gives us a centre point to attract players from many areas.

In recent times, the county and surrounding counties have experienced considerable success from its school’s basketball teams and even Virginia having great success with its National League woman’s program.

Euro Elite Basketball have been a small part of this success hosting camps and clinics in Cavan for many years plus providing coaching into the successful national league team.

We at Euro Elite Basketball see Cavan as a key growth area for the future with so many talented players coming through the ranks and with our relationship with the venue in St Pats and its excellent facilities being so strong the future is very bright for basketball in the area.

Our third venue in Ireland is the in the southeast of the country in Kilkenny.

While the area is famous for Hurling (Irish GAA Sport) its basketball has produced many top players in the past.

Euro Elite Basketball are delighted to announce our venue from December 2023 in Kilkenny will be the Watershed Sports & Leisure club which has been Kilkenny’s top Sports Venue since 2008.

The Venue has three courts then can also have one main court and provide seating for over five hundred when required.
